Visualising the Bonsai story to attract more customers

The Austrian company IBB Solutions offers a beautiful solution to a niche market. However to communicate the advantages of their solution their customers and the key decision makers proved to be a challenge. VizBiz was asked to help shape and visualize the story of the main product of IBB Solutions, Bonsai.

We have approached this project by discussing several times with the CEO of IBB Solutions to get an in-depth understanding of what the product does and how it impacts the customer. It turned out that Bonsai basically helps to manage the cashflow better of large companies, typically retailers that need to manage a lot of suppliers with complex discount and bonus structures.

Based on the insights gained we made a lot of sketches and cartoons that show the typical tasks Bonsai takes care of and their impact on employees and customers. The key benefits were turned into infographics to be used on the company website and in presentations, proposals and promotions on trade shows as shown below.

The results have been positive. The big Infographic used at a tradeshow got more attention than the previously used material and it was a useful cartoon to talk with prospects about their processes and problems that IBB Solutions could potentially solve. In the end it resulted in more deals.
